Operation

The sunshade can be opened and closed manually in any position when the roof is closed. The sunshade opens automatically when the roof is opened.
Tilting and closing the roof
- To tilt the sunroof as far as possible, press the
.png)
button up briefly to the second
level (1). - To close the sunroof completely, pull the
.png)
button down briefly to the second level. - To set a partially open position, press or pull
the button to the first level
until the roof
reaches the desired position.
Opening and closing the roof
- To close the sunroof completely, push the
.png)
button back briefly to the second level (2). - To close the sunroof completely, push the
.png)
button forward briefly to the second level. - To select a partially open position, push the
.png)
button forward or back to the first level until
the desired position is reached.
Sunroof emergency closing
If an object is detected when closing, the roof will open again automatically. In this case, you can then close it with the power emergency closing function.
- Within five seconds after the sunroof opens automatically, pull the applicable button until the roof is closed.
WARNING
- Observe the safety precautions.
- To reduce the risk of injury, always pay attention
when closing the sliding/tilting sunroof.
Always switch the ignition off when leaving the vehicle and always take the vehicle key with you.
Note
Always close your sliding/tilting sunroof when leaving your vehicle. Rain can cause damage to the interior equipment of your vehicle, particularly the electronic equipment.
Tips
- After switching off the ignition, the sliding/ tilting sunroof can still be operated for several minutes as long as neither of the front doors have been opened.
- It is not possible to open the sliding/tilting sunroof when temperatures are too low.

- Never sharply bend or kink the operating cable.
Removing
- Move the door window into the "closed" position.
- Remove the door inner cover. Refer to
