Audi A4: TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82-, Removing and Installing, Sedan

The TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82- is located at the lower right of the D-pillar.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Vehicle Interior Trim Panels; D-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing.

- Release and disconnect the connectors -2 and 5- from the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82--1-.

- Remove the bolt -3- and remove the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82--1- from the D-pillar -4-.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Engage the antenna amplifier -1- first left and then right in the direction of -arrow- in the openings and the tighten.

- Push on and lock the connectors.

Tightening Specifications

TV Antenna Amplifier 2 -R83-, Removing and Installing, Sedan

The TV Antenna Amplifier 2 -R83- is located at the lower left of the D-pillar.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Vehicle Interior Trim Panels; D-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing.

- Release and disconnect the connectors -2 and 5- from the TV Antenna Amplifier 2 -R83--1-.

- Remove the bolt -3- and remove the TV Antenna Amplifier 2 -R83--1- from the D-pillar -4-.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Engage the antenna amplifier -1- first left and then right in the direction of -arrow- in the openings and the tighten.

- Push on and lock the connectors.

TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82-, Removing and Installing, Avant

TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82- is located at the lower left of the rear lid.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Luggage Compartment Trim Panels; Rear Lid Lower Trim Panel, Removing and Installing.

- Release and disconnect the connectors -1- and -3- from the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82--2-.

- Remove the bolts -4- and remove the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82--2- from the rear lid.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Engage the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82--1- first left and then right in the direction of -arrow- in the openings and the tighten.

- Push on and lock the connectors.

Digital Radio Antenna -R183-, Removing and Installing, Avant

The Digital Radio Antenna -R183- is located on the right C-pillar.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the C-pillar trim. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Vehicle Interior Trim Panel; C-Pillar Trim, Removing and Installing.

- Release and disconnect the connectors -2- and -5- from the Digital Radio Antenna -R183--1-.

- Remove the bolt -3- and remove the Digital Radio Antenna -R183--1- from the C-pillar -4-.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Engage the Digital Radio Antenna -R183--1- first on the left and then on the right -arrow- in the openings and then tighten.

- Push on and lock the connectors.

Tightening Specifications
