Overview - Antenna Systems, Sedan, USA

The antenna systems consist of window antennas, a Roof Antenna - R216- and bumper antennas.

Window Antennas

  • Antenna -R11- (AM/FM1)/TV Antenna 1 -R55- (TV1) to the Antenna Amplifier -R24- at the top of the right D-pillar
  • TV Antenna 2 -R56- (TV2) to the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82- on the lower right of the D-pillar.
  • Radio Antenna 2 -R93- (FM2) to the Antenna Amplifier 2 -R111- at the top left of the D-pillar
  • TV Antenna 3 -R57- (TV3) to the TV Antenna Amplifier 2 -R83- on the lower left of the D-pillar.

Roof Antenna -R216-

  • GPS Antenna -R50-, only on 7UF/7UG/7UH/IW3
  • Telephone Antenna -R65-, only for 9ZE
  • LTE Antenna 2 -R306-, only on 9ZX and EL3
  • Satellite Antenna -R170-, only on QV8

Bumper Antennas

  • LTE Antenna 2 -R306- under the rear bumper cover on the right side, only for 9ZE and EL3
  • LTE Antenna 1 -R297- under the rear bumper cover on the left side, only for EL3

Additional Antennas

  • Emergency Module Antenna -R263- in the front center instrument panel, only IW3

Repairing Antenna Wires. Refer to → Chapter "General Repair Information".

The antenna systems consist of window antennas, a Roof Antenna -R216- and bumper antennas.

Window Antennas

  • Antenna -R11- (AM/FM1)/TV Antenna 1 -R55- (TV1) to the Antenna Amplifier -R24- at the upper right of the rear lid.
  • Radio Antenna 2 -R93- (FM2)/TV Antenna 2 -R56- (TV2) to the Antenna Amplifier 2 -R111- at the top of the rear lid on the left side
  • TV Antenna 3 -R57- (TV3) to the TV Antenna Amplifier 1 -R82- on the lower left of the rear lid

Roof Antenna -R216-

  • GPS Antenna -R50-, only on 7UF/7UG/7UH/IW3
  • Telephone Antenna -R65-, only for 9ZE
  • LTE Antenna 2 -R306-, only on 9ZX and EL3
  • Satellite Antenna -R170-, only on QV8

Bumper Antennas

  • LTE Antenna 2 -R306- under the rear bumper cover on the right side, only for 9ZE and EL3
  • LTE Antenna 1 -R297- under the rear bumper cover on the left side, only for EL3

Additional Antennas

  • Emergency Module Antenna -R263- in the front center instrument panel, only IW3
